Been surveyoring since 2002/3 ish and stillnot board! Still got loads I want to do but no time to finishes them. I love the way things appear on the DLS just as you need them or not long afterwards. Thanks to all the content builders who make it such a fascinating life project.

I love the way the CEO turns up on the boards whenever a new release is in the offering and then disappears again shortly thereafter.

I love surveyor mode. There are a few problems that I have with it, but those should be fixed in 09. (narrower cuts, smaller radius for textures, ect.)

I love surveyor mode too. I spend 99.9% of my time on TRS2006 in surveyor mode or downloading items for my routes.

i love creating layouts, and going round them,
but i hate it that they have to be really simple, or my computer cant handle it and crashes!

I love Surveyor and I love driving trains from a cab. But most of all, I love being able to work on trains even when I'm in too much pain to work on my real-life N scale layout.

I've been thinking of making a Trainz route just like my layout...

... and the waiting. I just love the anticipation that comes from ordering my copy of TS2009 on 2 Feb, having the money deducted from my credit card on 3 Feb and going to my profile every day to see that SHIPPING IS STILL PENDING AFTER ALMOST 3 MONTHS!!!

Have you noticed that the Auran defenders who usually jump up when people complain about Trainz, have been conspicuous by their silence

On the original topic, Surveyor mode is my favourite.

Surveyor mode is a whole lot of fun for me. I do enjoy driving some of my favorite engines around running freight and passengers here and there on some of the built in layouts and some realyl good content from the community, but all in all if I had to pick the one thing,

Engineering background, always like building things, so Surveyor wins hands down.

Like everyone else had said on the board I love the surveyor modes. Its allows me more creativity and I can actually make my own route. (Which I haven't started yet, but I will get to it).
