Were the USRA Standard Locomotives compounds?

I think by the Time USRA had control of anything, Compound locomotives were a past craze. Compounds were popular around the turn of the century, but after they turned out to be a disaster (except in slow speed freight for articulated's) they were either converted of phased out

Only the USRA 2-8-8-2 was a compound (plan 119 in the Model Railroader Cyclopedia).

25 inch dia rear cylinders - 39 inch front cylinders. Both with 32 inch stroke.
