Wendy's Sign - Size

The sign for Wendy's (EUPHOD) looks about twice the size it should be. Our local zoning secret committe would vote against it.

Otherwise the entire series shows quality when compared to previous Trainz versions objects. I always look for several hundred kb, or more, in file size for a sign or other building object to indicate quality.

Sorry Dick, I don't build the models, I just reskin them. In this case I only added nightmode to the models as a request, so Dave wouldn't have to mess with it. Perhaps you could use the Wendys Sign along the interstate, where signs are usually larger anyway.

Okay. I made the sign smaller and re-uploaded it to the DLS.

BTW, I've been in and out of the hospital. I'm still reading the forums occasionally, but I don't feel like creating.

Why is it people aren't seeing that I made some of this stuff??? It's not that hard to read the Config file or see who the original author was.

Because some folks like to find fault with the smallest detail or lack of detail to their standards. Keep up the good works folks. I am love them.

Dave,

Rest up and don't worry about us here. There are always those people who complain about something. I lived with one for a number of years and now I'm single again... :hehe:

Dick's complaint maybe a valid one, and Ed found a solution as usual. :D

You've made awesome stuff so far. Keep up the good work. I still enjoy your Ozark Valley. It's an awesome route to drive. :D

Been there--done that. After my first wonderful wife died, I screwed up and married a witch. Got out of that after 3-1/2 years of misery.

Thanks, John. Wroking on that route a little at a time to make it TS12 compatible.

Cheers,

Dave

Singing to the choir ... I wish I had experienced a good one, but I'm too gun shy to try again!

I hope you are on the mend Dave, and I'm sorry if I've caused you any irritation, I certainly have not been trying to "steal your thunder", but I'll stop with the reskinning if you like. You deserve credit for the wonderful models you've brought into Trainz.

DO NOT STOP RESKINNING!!!!!!!! I have no problem with that at all.

And I don't have any thunder anyhow!

Cheers,

Dave

I was not complaining. The sign was out of proportion. If I could have fixed it I would have. Perhaps there should be a standard paragraph disclaimer, that can be attached to a msg, stating that there is no ill will toward the author.

I have almost all of this series of objects and find them to have exceptional clarity, mechanical detail and coloring. They stand out and create a new standard where the file size tells me right away these objects are worthwhile - for me. An effusive thanks!

Please let me know if this is not satisfactory to offset my initial "complaint".

I never took it to be a complaint Dick, just a misunderstanding, Dave was very kind to upload a resized model!
