Friends,

Time flies, and all that, but I'm a bit concerned that Euphod has not posted to the forums since 21 April, 2013. I'm hoping someone in the community has been in touch since.

I only mentioned that previous thread just in case some wondering about Euphod might not have been aware of earlier concern.

Indeed - if we are going on about previous threads, my 15,000th post also referred to his non-appearance on the forums (as well as my concern which still stands).

I also hope Euphod is ok, but this unusual not to hear from him in such a long time...

Likewise, I'm hoping all is OK. There was no indication in his last post that anything was wrong, afraid it's not looking too good.

Hi everybody.
I certainly hope that Euphod is in good health and enjoying life for my feeling is that he may just have decided to move on to new pastures and perhaps a new hobby.

I joined this forum in 2005 when I thought I was going to retire. However, that did not happen as i started my own business almost by accident and only now eight years later am I now actually going to retire. I have posted on the forum during those years but as somebody coming back with thoughts of taking up trainz as a hobby once again I find that things on the forum and in the simulator itself have very much changed. Many of the old forum members have gone and at times you see them posting on other simulator forums. They have been replaced by many younger forum members obviously drawn by developments such as multiplayer etc.

There is also the thought that Euphod always liked to debate matters outside of trainz which I and others often joined. I feel that Euphod seen that as part of forum life within the community, but that often displeased the trainz purists feel that nothing other than trainz simulator should be discussed on the forum and criticised him and us for doing so. Therefore as stated he may have just decided to move on as others have done to new forums and interests and where his great debating talent is perhaps more appreciated. I certainly hope so for his voice, advice and debates on this forum are a great loss to the whole community.

Once again, I certainly hope he is well

Bill
