We need Sulphur Dioxide Cleaning for the Coal Power Plants in Trainz!

Hi Swordfish,
You may like to post this in the Suggestion Boxcar Theads. It may just give a Content Creator something to mull over for a new industry. Or a tweak to an old one.

If a Power plant is using a high sulfur content coal, limestone is used to remove the sulfur content, it is called a scrubber. A by-product of the scrubbing is flay ash, or ash. Flay ash is used in cement manufacturing, and also as a filler in road construction, fly ash is transported in covered hoppers, limestone is carried in open top hoppers. Both limestone & fly ash (ash) are on the DLS or built-in. The calcium in the limestone plus the sulfur in the coal combine and form gypsum, used to make wall board, plaster, and used in medical creams, paints, and fertilizers. Gypsum is also transported in covered hoppers.
