WC Shotz

^ Thanks for the link. I downloaded them. Everything looks good. I just need to know how to add the logs onto the cars. Is there a way to do this? I am still in the beginners stage of trying to figure things out.

You can eithe use "?" on the car after you place it on the track, or fill them on a "multi-industry" track you place on your layout. You will have to experiment a little to find the logs you prefere.

Regards/ Tom

I definitely need some better pulpwood cars. I am specifically looking for the pulpwood cars with the sides such as these...

This is what I use:

I dont like the load on them cars as there is nothing holding them up on the sides, so I mainly use them as empties

I was able to figure it out. Thanks for the info. I was hoping to add the cars to my saved session and replace the new pulpwood cars with the old orange ones, but it looks like I can't do that unless there is something I don't know. I was able to put some of the new pulpwood cars I got onto a siding when I went to edit a particular activity I made and then clicked properties and was able to load them with logs as seen here. I like the look of this...

Train 10 gets ready to head south with its big train of 134 cars

A nice big and healthy train heading south! You must have modified the route a bit. Looks like you replaced the track. Are you able to send over your modified version?

2 SW1500s come off the Newberry Sub here at Trout Lake, with a few pulpwood loads, to stick in the yard for train LO10, that will be due here later this evening

This is not a Trainz pic, but it relates to the thread topic. I have a model railroad in my basement and I have a Wisconsin Central SW1500 switcher that I thought I would share.

We have a single CN ES44DC unit in charge of switching out various customers along the line.

Here we see the train with a few cars blasting through Gilchrist. Some are loaded and some are empty. The loaded cars came from the Gould City siding where we also placed some empty pulpwood cars on the siding for future loading.

Next, our train slows as it approaches the Trout Lake depot. The train will cut away from its train on the main and take some empty pulpwood cars to the second to last siding in the yard.

Our train has now backed into the yard. There are some loaded pulpwood cars on the last siding that came from the Newberry sub that we will be taking with us as we continue our trip north.

The train has stopped just before the crossing as the conductor throws the switch to couple up to the rest of the train on the main. Funny story here as we were a little late at getting a snapshot, but a few seconds after the train stopped a car went ahead and decided to cross the tracks. Today was not his day as a sheriff right around the corner pulled him over and gave him a ticket. As the sheriff pulled him over he called the other sheriff to tell him that there was a blue/white truck (top right corner) that was sitting idle on the crossing. Needless to say he got a ticket too!

Pulling away from Trout Lake. The next set up pick ups and drop offs will be just north of Northland.

The Newberry local at Trout Lake, teams up with the train to SSAM as they haul the logs towards the mills in Wisconsin

You can add content, rolling stock, via an IPortal. Set up an IPortal on your current route, and create an bare bone route just for adding rolling stock to your main route.

A Union Pacific coal train CNASH-18 headed for the Edgewater generating station in Sheboygan comes thru Milwaukee for a crew change and then heads up the UP Shoreline Subdivision towards Sheboygan

I'm not even sure how to really do that. I am a true beginner at this stuff. I wanted to start creating my own route, but I am beginning to have major doubts on how to begin if I don't know something as simple is this.
