Thanx....I try to make it as real as I can....And I think in this set of pix...I have done so.....I think this was the best set I ever done so far IMO

Thanx for looking and commenting........Be sure to stay tuned for more of this route coming soon your way........

Thanks WCL, got those ones already, looked at the picture on my Iphone, so couldn't see them clear in your pics... anymore out there that you know of? I've been searching for industry ready ones for a long time... I have lots of Centrebeam flats, but Regular bulkhead flats are hard to find...

Yet snowing again!!!!! WILL IT EVER STOP!!!!!!!!!! Anyways.....Today I caught one of the rare switch jobs that make it over to the Northwest side of town...This train is always hard to catch as its just as a as needed job

We are set up right here on Stewart Ave, where the switch is to either to go to the West side of Wausau where 3M and a bunch of other industries are (we will chase that train sometime, or take the camera along when I head out that way to switch it) or go to the Northwest side of town (where this train is going)

Coming across the Wisconsin River

Coming back after switching the only 1 customer out in this area, the sad thing is, the conductor has to ride the last car all the way back to the yard as there is no run-a-round track up at that industry....Its fine in the summer, but when you get to the winter months and cold temperatures...LOOK OUT!!!!

After yarding its train, the lone SD40-2 pulls up and backs to the yard office where it will go back in and grab some more paper work for this after noons switch job that will prolly be either south of here or on the west side of town

All for now

Darn you WCL!

You got that CN/IC SD40-2.
I need to get it, but sadly my birthday party never got scheduled so I never got my gift cards! GAH!

But what can I say, I wouldn't want anyone else to show her off before you, I like your routes, you run so prototypically.

Cheers,
Woody:wave:

Vancouver Calgary WIP maybe some of it this year in ts2010

Kind of a dumb question maybe, but is there a good WC Route available, it looked like on page 38 and 39 of thus thread there was... I'm an engineer with CN in Canada, and am looking for a good WC route... Pics look great btw!
Hi there,
see you're from AB,CA.
Currently i am working (5 up years on my route Vancouver Calgary prototypical as far as Bing and Google allow with Tranzdem. Since we have a lot of changes in versions coming from 2004,2006,2009 and now 2010. I am little bit reluctant to continue the subdivisions I worked on in earlier versions. First see if this version is really what it says.
In ts2010 now I am completing the mountain sub more the segment Field to Golden and onwards then to Revelstoke.
Looks pretty good and huge but still running well on a good computer of course.
Since you are an engineer with CN maybe you could give me some more details on all the subdivisions on MOW sidings and all the signals in the employee timetable. Would help me a lot to give the last detail to the already very detailed CPR segments i finished.

WCL as always you're the man lots of good picts and stuff. At this moment no picts yet nor video first finish the complete segment Field Golden.
Calgary Field exist in a winter version on 2006-2009 version. Before porting to 2010 and finishing up I first check more on the Field Golden part to see its safe to go ahead.

Roy:)

Caught a WC job working out in the Industrial Park today....Never seen 2 units working out on this side of town before

Here we catch him switching out the lumber yard...Swapping loads for empties

A unique operation on the WC was the "push me-pull me" operation of the pair of trains operated between Green Bay and Stevens Point. Since there was no direct wye connection at North Neenah where the Fox River Subdivision junctions with the Neenah Subdivision, these trains were operated with two engineers and locomotives at each end allowing for a quick reversal of direction at Neenah.

On May 22, 2000, train STGB1T with 2 SDL39's on the head end and a sister SDL39 pushing on the rear, is seen here hopping off the Neenah Sub and onto the Fox River sub to take this train up to Green Bay

All for now
