Walt Disney World, Florida Giving it another go.

WDWProject is giving it another go by restarting the Disney World project for Trainz '04-'12. Using shared models by fellow Trainz users and with the help of Google Sketchup 8 with the RubyTMIX plugin, we may be the first trainzers to successfully recreate the Walt Disney World Resort.

So the one question is,why can't we set up a website and forum for this so we can ask for support,this sorta project would take ages to complete if it was done single handedly...So what do you all think?...Anyone interested,either converting the high polys to low polys from GWH...or making there own.....there is quite a lot to go on as we know...

I'm currently in the process of making a website for it right now. I do, however, have a Facebook page up for it, so if you would like, like the page and add any suggestions you feel like.

@colhad Screenshots will be coming out soon. I'm still working on downloading custom scenery and using RubyTMIX for actual Disney models to place in the routes. I also have to stake screenshots on Google Earth to make basemaps so that way the route is as realistic as possible.

Hmm Very Intresting If you need help with getting a web side Use Freewebs.com of corse its has its limets. good luck with the project. I been working on the same route for a number of years just don't give up no matter what any one saids and use there wisdom as a guild.

I'm acually already using freewebs to begin the construction. I've acually got a couple of websites using them. I should be able to publish the website within a couple of days.

EDIT: Are you just using JFE's content or do you have your own personal content?

I have made my own stuff for my DP project I have 3 guys helpping with the mass route. team work makes it go a bit better. I have a few of my own stuff out on DLS. Althow i'm not shore what "JEF's" refries to?

JFE is the user who created all of the monorail content for Trainz. Hey, if you have the chance, could I see some screenies of your Disney content? I have plenty of content that could help you out!

Getting Recorded monorail audio and turning them into usable WAV formats to use in Trainz. Hopefully, when I visit the park on Sunday, I can sneak a laptop onto a monorail and record some more on the EPCOT and Express Beams.

I would also like to make a shoutout to Trainz user travis1992 as he is a current monorail pilot and is trying ever so hard to get me the "clear" spiels recorded by Joe Hursh himself.
