Virginia, Tennessee, and Western

I don't know how far along you've gotten with this, but I located a pretty large DEM I made before it was trimmed down to suit my needs. It contains the CSX Kingsport Subdivision (former CRR mainline) from Elkhorn City, KY to Kingsport, TN, NS Appalachia District (former SOU) from Appalachia, VA to Frisco Yard, TN, the Western part of the NS Clinch Valley District (former N&W) from St. Paul, VA to Norton, VA, NS St. Charles Branch (former SOU) from Appalachia, VA to St. Charles, VA, NS Clinch Valley Extension (former IRR) from Tacoma, VA to Andover, VA, and the CSX Cumberland Valley Subdivision (former L&N) from Big Stone Gap, VA to Hagans, VA. These all include miles of branchlines servicing dozens of tipples. Tunnels of various lengths are everywhere, including the Natural Tunnel which if you replicated in Trainz would make you a superstar in my book, and trestles, including the moderately famous Copper Creek viaduct, are even more common. There is no way you'd ever be able to build up this entire DEM in any reasonable time, but if you are interested you can trim it down to the parts you want.

Ditto^

Paint scheme looks pretty nice though. What's up with the two toned grey on that thing though? Is it supposed to be like that or is it unfinished?

Well, this was the inspiration for the scheme so you should be able to see it's a WIP.

Also, I decided for that route to be VT&W today, after I started that thread so I figured I would continue it there.

Well, I made another route, this one is just the Ashville Shop complex to keep my own interest in the project.

We take trespassing very seriously.

Not sure if anyone even scrolls through this thread anymore, so I may be beating a dead horse here. I am going to start work on a mainline route for the VT&W, I can do everything but scenicing cities(stations excluded) and terrain. So if anyone is good at creating cities and terraforming PLEASE PM me and state why you want to help me with this and some examples of what you have created in Trainz(routes, not skins).

Thanks to anyone who reads this and thinks they can help,
Bobby(AMTRAKwannabe)
