I've been going through this I'm almost going mad. It's getting EXTREMELY OFTEN now, when ever I do some "sensitive" action, such as connecting track to a bridge, another track spline will go completely mad and relocate itself to some faraway place.
Well since this has kind of been dismissed as the cause of the current problem I won't dwell on it. I would though like to correct the impression that changing one spline section (with the straighten tool) or moving 1 vertex point somehow effects the entire spline - it doesn't. It is after all a mathematical entity. The spline shape at any vertex is determined only by the adjacent connected spline section(s). This is because Trainz uses only the chord direction (the straight line between vertex points) along with the straighten bit status to determine the spline shape. All the chords except the 2 attached to a vertex remain unchanged when a vertex is moved. Moving the point won't affect the spline shape more than 1 vertex away from it. Straightening a spline section will only affect the shape in the adjacent sections directly connected to it.Its not a bug at all. You are the problem. Remember it is flex track. This means that moving/altering one area of the track will have an influence on other part of the flex track. Compare it with a rope. When moving one end of the rope the entire rope will move.
