USLW GP30 High Hood?

Was there any chance that USLW was making a high hood GP30, considering that a SOU high hood skin is contained in a reskin kit that was recently released by N8PHU along with the USLW GP30 rereleases (with TS12+ spec upgrades)?

n8phu has said that they were. The high hoods were finished but unreleased, and this confirms that. I asked him about them but nothing really concrete I've heard back from him yet. It's known that he has a busy career and family life so it's been taking some time.

I think CloakedGhost has one on his site, might be payware. I think it's Southern. NS has used a lot of high hood diesels with the long hood forward on freight trains. Maybe some of those were ex-Southern. And I think TVRM has a high hood Southern GP30 that they have used on their tourist trains. https://www.cloakedghost.com/c-gp30_22.html There you go. The units were made, but never publicly released. There is a chance they still exist, but time is needed to find out.

That would be Southern 2594, which is actually on lease to the TVRM. It's actually owned by the Southeastern Railway Museum of Duluth, Georgia.
