Using TransDem for new Route

I'm using MP 451 YouTube video Trans 2022: Transdem step by step. When I finish the first part where you export your route and it says if you see these files then you're good but I'm missing four files out of ten, thumbnail.jpg, mapfile.lyr, mapfile.rlr and mapfile.trc. I'm hoping someone can enlighten me on what's going on. He uses one file when he sets up the map in Transden that he doesn't show when he makes it other than that I see nothing I'm doing wrong. Thanks for any help in advance. Hope I gave enough info.

That sounds like the route that was generated is knackered. You might want to try exporting the route again from TransDEM.

It was exported from TransDem. I will try again, MP 451 hasn't got back to me yet and its been over a week.

This is the start of a series of posts about my attempt to create a large US route (160 miles) using TranzDEM. I used OpenStreetMaps (OSM) for map data and USGS for DEM data.

I encountered significant troubles with the Tile Map Export. I am not sure if that was related to my PC (not enough memory, etc), or if I did some things wrong. With the full route (160 miles), the UTM Tile Map export failed immediately. Using a reduced route (60 miles), many tiles did not get exported. For a small route (20 miles), everything worked fine.

But ultimately, I don't actually need the UTM Tile export...

Just wanted to give you guys a big thank you for the help. I have the new route in Traniz 2022, and I'll take a couple of snap shots soon. I still didn't get the other four files for some reason. The thumbnal.jpg I can do later; the route seems to be fine so not sure what the other files are far. I still need to get the Google maps in and I'm hoping I can do them separately later on. hopefully I don't need the other files to do the orthophoto files, I did Bluefield to Roanoke should be a challenge. I have posted some shots of the new route on the screenshots form.
