My rendition of the famous CA hotspot,would be a cool spot to hang out for a day,I haven't got to bent trying to detail the location to the tee just wanted to capture the essence of the place in Trainz the best I could do living on the other side of the world using railpictures.net & G Earth as a reference.

Well I must say kingstonflyer that you're doing a pretty good job for living halfway around the world! I used to live in SoCal and you've captured it pretty darn well! Keep up the great work.

Eventually having 15 BL2s, 12 purchased from EMD, 2 from the C&0(#'s 81 and 84) and one from the Boston and Maine, (# 1554), made the Mayburry Northern the biggest purchaser of the GP7s ancestor. Though they could only MU with one locomotive at a time, the BL2 found a perfect niche on the Mayburry Northern, even with some of its steeper grades.

Here we see a lashup of BL2 #13 and #17 pulling a cut of airslide covered hoppers in 1954. The hoppers were newly invented, and quickly found a home hauling cement on the Mayburry.
