The route is Dermmy's fantastic McCall Yard route.

I haven't seen many screenies from the new layout by Lars called Santa Maria Valley RR, set in California, so, I'll pop some up......

A unit train drifts eastbound downgrade from Sherman Summit on the 1953 cut-off line, ten miles longer than the main line but with only a 0.85 percent ruling grade.

All, again nice shots!

@GFisher: I agree IC on that. As I've stated before you've captured the rugged terrain of Wyoming quite well! Looking forward to that route amongst many others.

:)

Keep up the great work all!

Hey Bryan,
Aren't you working on the Great Lakes Central Railroad?
You should start a thread like Jim did.

But thanks for the reminder post. I should have some new screenshots sometime coming down the pipe and I'll even post some here in USA pics. I've kind of re-worked some things and they're definitely WiP but coming along...that is when I get the time to work on it and not distracted by other things. lol

Jerry and I were in Cut Bank when we got this excellent shot of BNSF & UP shaking hands to a new partnership after completing a new bridge.
Cut Bank City Park District bought the old bridge and made a pedestrian path out of it.

I converted the bridge using the old one.

Applegathc,
I downloaded a certain platform and with the right spline inserts, was able to get the right height.
I'll PM you the details after I compile the KUID's and make some shots of the spline inserts.
Think of it as a "tutorial".
