USA Pics

Mayburry, Vermont. November 1964. A Boston and Maine mixed freight passes through Mayburry Yard on its way north. The freight is lead by an RS3, and a GP9 in the Mcguiness scheme.

Here we see the freight entering the south entrance of the yard.

As the freight passes through the yard, it passes a southbound CP trainmaster pulling empty cement hoppers to the cement factory down the line.

The mixed freight continues northward, increasing up to track speed as it crosses White's Creek. It then heads through the cut in the mountain.

To Be Continued...

Continued.

The Mayburry Gravel Company's RS11 waits for the freight to pass after dropping off its string of 4bay hoppers.

Crossing the unprotected crossing leading to the gravel pit, the freight continues north eastward parallel to Rt. 22.

You're a master George! Your work is always infused with atmosphere that most others cannot achieve.

You are redoing City and Country USA? Cool. I hope you fix some of the trackwork heading out of the city and turning to the left in the original, and i see you are changing just about everything. Are you going to release it?? Nice Shots!

actual track work and such I'm trying to stay away from. mainly I'm upgrading stuff. making things industry active, new signals, switches, track, buildings, I'll probably lay some more flora arround as well.

Looking good. I have to laugh at that locomotive though because I have seen the pics of the real one that the paint was based off of. I think that caption was something like "Your warbonnet is showing" or something like that. Is it a skin that you did, or is it available somewhere? That is one beautiful route.
