better not derail that train XD
Thanks m8 :) That's is exactly what I thought a long time ago when I found these with Google Earth.

More "preparing for war":
I believe there's a few smaller tonnage loco's hiding under the DLS, could always use another prototype such as the Alco's I mentioned US Army bought a crapton for WWII
in those new pics are they actually storing the cars in the bunkers? Is that prototypical?

Yes they do and yes it is :). Example on Earle (still in use). Example on Seal (same area as screenshot).
Those things are/were called "barricaded sidings".

If you have an exact name of those "smaller tonnage loco's", I would be happy because if there is one thing I am not an expert in, it is US engine names :hehe:.

That's rather curious that they're stored like that, just in the cars, I'm sure I'm gonna regret saying this but I'd say that some conspiracy theorist probably think these are Bunkers for storing NWO Homeland Security enforcement equipment....
yeah just look up different tonnage locomotives I believe the tonner's are 75% the same except for varying weights and length and some aesthetics (one example is the drop cab the US military bought for WWII) I seem to have missed the seal beach comment, I've never been but it looks like you got it down pretty well, not much left of that storage facility, also if you look at the google maps image of seal beach there's a "stranded" boat in one of the western banks of storage. ^.^

Pretty good idea putting the naval weapons station in Trainz.

The Navy had many GE 44, 45, 65, 80 tonner center cab locomotives, some Baldwin switchers, EMD SW1200s (can even see some in the google shots). You can pretty much pick any small switcher and it would be a good bet they had it.

Some more GTW stuffs- GTW SD38 6251 and one of the dolly sisters haul a train down the street running on 5th street.

Thank you!

For those who (also) like the idea: As off today there are 33 "weapons and ammunition storage related assets" available on the DLS. See this topic for more details on how, what and why.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I will be using this lovely engine (thanks to Flusi for the kuid) for future testing and screenshots: USMC 44 tonner 248238, kuid:404894:100115

Another shot of my Blender and screenshots "sandbox" that looks a bit like Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach:
