NIARTcar,
Where did you find the vehicles in your post #31093 here? I have had a hard time finding great quality vehicles such as the pickup and bus. Any help is appreciated!!

@NIARTcar: pure beauty of commuter lines. Liek for that :)

Niartcar that pic looks like it took a lot of work to achieve so well done that's quite spectacular i think.
Cheers Mick.
Thanks I appreciate the comments and kind words!

The two that you mention are actually DLS. The Greyhound bus is made by Vulcan, and the pickup is by Dinorius_Redundicus. You can get a collection of freight hauling trucks on the DLS from Yukonzoom, and there are a few more odds and ends that can be picked up here: http://s4.zetaboards.com/amtkz/pages/scene/

Camp Navajo Here in Arizona has/had something similar, a small ordinance moving railroad, I'm pretty sure they still get some stuff interchanged with the Transcon every once in a while.
According to a google web search they have a couple RS-4-TC's (1260 & 4015) over there, I've never personally seen them, but I do know they aren't switched by BNSF so I'd assume they would have at least a railking or something to move stuff around. Something about WWII base for storing ammo for the pacific theater.

On the C&HR, the Hood River kept all their original locomotives in reserve, on one morning, the local crew had issues with the prime mover in the SD9, so they fired up #205 for local service.

WOW! that looks interesting :)
Thanks m8 :) That's is exactly what I thought a long time ago when I found these with Google Earth.

Looks like Oknosten is preparing for "The End Of Trainz" :hehe:
Better safe then sorry :P
Been building a lot of assets in that theme; they will show-up on the DLS soon(tm).

I'd assume they would have at least a railking or something to move stuff around.
Based on some searching I did a few months ago, they use things called "GE 80-ton". Have not been able to find a nice yellow version of one on the DLS; if anyone knows if they are hiding under a different name (or a different similar looking engine?), let me know!

More "preparing for war":
