@Flusi737: Beautiful work on the bridge and the line as a whole. A few things to note on the Park Ave. tunnel picture is that there are no signals at this spot. The closest signals are at the crossover just to the north and at 59th Street. Also there is no wall that divides the middle two tracks at any point in the tunnel. However the end two tracks are separated by walls from roughly 59th Street to where you have them set in the picture. Other than that, great job.

Thanks Railwoodman :D

Thanks a lot! Thats always a big problem...i can not visit it to check every detail :p ehat you see in the middle is no wall, those are support beams. But if they are not there...is this a 4 track tunnel without any support pylons?!

(Sorry, I'm not sure on how to upload pictures directly from flickr yet)

Nice shot

For uploading directly to the forums, you can go to the following websites to upload images
- HostThenPost.Com
- Imageshack.com
- Photobucket.com

Once uploaded you can either directly copy paste the image, or, you can copy image url and use it with the "Insert Image" tool on top of the chat dialog box.

Hope that helps

Handsome loco there whitepass!

I was wondering if you kind USA trainzers could answer a question of mine:
What is the reason for multiple railroad companies locomotives on one train?
I understand why they have more than one locomotive (for extra power etc), but why are they often from different railroads, are they for owned by the same but haven't been repainted yet?

some examples:

What is the reason for multiple railroad companies locomotives on one train?
Two examples:
1) Need for power in a specific area: The NS does not have the engines available in one corner of its area and hires one from UP, usually later to be return the favour in a different area for UP by NS.
2) In exchange for use of rail network of competitor: NS needs to service a customer in an area with the tracks owned by UP. To be allowed on the tracks, the NS later "pays" for this by giving one of his engines to UP for a set amount of time.
