How come when I try to install this update, it wont let me???

Its the one I need next, but I get this error??

Are you running the patch as administrator?
Do you happen to have more installs of TS12 on that PC? If so, it might be pointing to a different installation. Hit the button with the 3 little dots and point it to the right install.

Looking at the patch box, the directory box is blank, which means you need to use the ... button to find the right folder.

Got that part fixed....But now when I go to the next one I get this:


But the build number wont change to the next one

Do you get your copy from steam or simulatorcentral?

Copy???? I got this in the mail when it first came out back in the day......

The updates should be fine, as my tutorial site links directly to the official downloads.

Did you try the ... method I described earlier in this thread?

I assume, I'm being a bit daft probably, that you're not patching while the Launcher is running or even Content Manager. If either of these are running, then the database is locked and the update won't work.

I suggest making a backup of your Userdata folder first before doing anything else.

Run a quick database repair.

Then try the patch again as administrator.

and when I try and run it I get this







Am I missing something here??? or doing something wrong???
