Updated items that don't exist?

Once had a route that used an updated item that could not be found, only an earlier version. Route creator said it was a TRS2006 Builtin but mine and TS2009 had the earlier item not the new one. Tried to use TO to replace it but it refused since it auto-replaced the item but the route files still had the updated kuid so any attempt to import into later Trainz kept complaining of the missing update. And now I have found a second route with an updated item where the update doesn't seem available. Both times the items are from the same creator.

First time
KUID2:68787:25064:2
Best I can find is kuid:68787:25064 Hotel

Second time
kuid2:68787:37111:2
Best I can find is kuid:68787:37111 Bergbach

I got a bad feeling about this.

First thought is the latest may have been given a more recent build so later versions wont reconise it. Second is check the config file and see how the asset has been placed in the kuid table. Sometimes ive found kuid table shows a version 1 but the latest is version 2 so trainz will show the last available kuid which is the one without any version number. This is because it wont download version 1 because it has the latest.
