Up Grade maybe ??

With this information should i need to update to run TRS2009 i have very bad frame rate in TRS2006 with just a few cars & locos on a route with nothing but track. All my setting are to the left.

I don't see anything about some kind of video card ? Is it built in the MB ? Or do i need to look in some other system file ?

Yes, that's extremely important.

Right-click on My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager > click the + in a little box beside Display Adaptors, then it should tell you what you've got.

John under display adapters = ATI Radeon xpress 200 series. I looked that up on the web and took me to some languish translator. I got distactive and started doing some else. Be fore looking that up i had my PC scanted for missing or updates for drivers this is what it came up with.
ATI Radeon xpress 200 series / need driver update
IDE ATA/ATAPI controller / driver update
IEEE 1394 Bus host controller / driver update
sound/video & game controller / driver update
Realtek AC 97 Audio / driver update
standard inhance PCI to USB / driver update

I didn't get around to looking them up but will try.

What is your computer model? Please be specific. To be on the safe side, make sure your computer has all of it's driver upgrades, hence the need for it's model. This can be obtained by a sticker tag on one if it's side dealing with it's manufacture.

Compaq Presario SR5233WM

If I remenber correctly, the xpress 200 is rather primative but it should sorta work.
TS2009 should work better than TRS2006 on any computer.

Joshua, it's a Emachines T6410. I know it old but it has windows with xp3 as the one i had wouldn't upgrade to windows xp2 because of motherboard. Now i am finding out this one isn't any better, even if it was free.
