Thanks Chris!

Ok, lets see what you guys think of Vegas! :p

BNSF 844 leads Union Pacific's MWCNP east through North Las Vegas onward to the desert landscape which lays in its tracks!

Cheers Daniel! Love hearing you thoughts people! :)

my thoughts - that is the nicest advertisement I've seen for an exclusively Australian beer in America. Fantastic shot, alcohol-geographic confusion omitted :hehe:

Thanks for all the comments everyone!

Couple from my favorite spot, Apex NV. The second shot caught my eye until i looked at the numbering.... Forgot something big was moving on the 28th, defiantly no where that's heading! :p

Cheers Daniel
Where do you get the UP passenger cars?

Thanks Blake, but they are actually reskins of "magiclands" SP coaches on the DLS.

Thankyou all for the kind words, i appreciate them very much and are for sure my main motivation for this route! :p

Caught this shot at Garnet, Nevada!

Cheers Daniel! Thanks again for the kind words, and/or even criticism! Feel free to ask questions or even add me on skype if you have anything regarding this you wish to ask or even just for a good old yack! ;)

As far as the route goes, its coming along nicely and I'm really enjoying it! Next part of the DEM should hopefully be in my hands in the next couple of weeks, and that will be the next 160 odd mile section of the sub i have yet to master! This section im working on right now is 80 miles, stretching from Las Vegas to Moapa Valley. The two sections will be merged once completed and put out for release at some stage! Which will then total the route to its 242.4 mile prototype. :p

Actually had my first test session on it today also, was quite surprised how challenging it was, step grades and tight weaves through the cuts got me unstuck a couple of times! :p This segment is meant to be the less challenging part of the route with kinda grades then the 160mile segment that I'm yet to get onto so, hope your guys are up for a challenge when this route is done! ;)

Cheers!

Can't give any higher praise then whats already been said. You can't be more "Awsome" then you already are, once you are....

That said, quick couple of questions, I recognize alot of the assets you're using, but there are definitely some I don't (For various reasons I'm sure).
-Are you using Right Hand Driving DES for the Traffic on the roads? Or are the vehicles were seeing static?

-Alot of the buildings were seeing (Which hasn't been many, your desert scenes, again, awsome), I simply don't recognize. Are you making them or is there some corner of the DLS I'm unfamiliar with as yet? If you are making them, are you importing Sketchup models or making them from scratch in your Modelling Program of Preference?

- The unique(?) Locomotive Skins (Cemex, -9 with the flags), are they your skins? Presumably of JR Locomotives? If so, would it be possible at some point to ask JR if they'd be interested in allowing you to share them, or to sell them on their site (Sharing I'm sure would be preferred by many, but I'd pay money for em, as I'm able to gather enough incrementally of course, lol).

-Did you ever upload that bridge for Download?

Lol, ok, a few more then a couple, but inquiring minds just gotta know!

Thanks,
Falcus

Thankyou everyone for the kind comments! Defiantly my motivation for the route, it really makes my day! :)

As Nicholas said above, most assets are on the DLS, or on 3rd party sites such as Jointed Rail and USLW just to name a few, i have not made to many assets for this route at this stage and for the few that have been created none of them have been released yet. I could possibly do release of the custom assets i have made for this route when the first beta is ready. The grain silos in the second shot of mine that Nicholas posted is actually on the DLS under FMA, so slight correction there.

- As for the loco's and assets i reskin, all i can do is ask at some stage but the most likely answer to that question is nearly a guaranteed to be a no sadly. :(
- As for the vehicles they are statically displayed at this time, i plan to make new road systems before final release as at this time there is no adequate road systems that will suit the Las Vegas region of this route.
- If there is any particular asset you cant find PM me and i could source it for you.

Here are some shots everyone! :)

Just for a quick update of the route for those interested, the route is nearing its early beta stages. A beta will emerge soon for selected users.

Cheers Daniel
