Unstoppable.

I've seen it as well, and I'm pretty sure it's a movie that plays better in the theater than at home.

bald eagle line

Some of Unstoppable was filmed on the on the North shore railroad's bald eagle branch out near Lock Haven PA.

To answer your questions Amtrakkid17, that is the result of the scenes where the 777 has crossing incidents with cars and trailers. It also ran through a parked box car.
As for dpfan1, Most of it was filmed on the Wheeling & Lake Erie and the majority of power was also W&LE power. The SD40-2's and GP35's all were. Hence the ex-KCS paint schemes on the -2 units and the orange & black on the 35's.

Port Allegany, Eldred, Turtlepoint, Emporium, Milesburg, and Tyrone were some locations in Pennsylvania.

My folks told me as a kid, that we were going to go swimming at Jersey Shore ... I later found out that we were not anywhere near the seashore beach.

BTW: Lock Haven was the scene of a riot, where the PA State Police and the National Gaurd were called, in the 1970's when a major factory in town shut its doors and the entire town was out of work, or hit by the chain reaction of the loss of jobs in town.
