Unninstalling Trainz.

I recently decided to re-install Trainz but how can I Re-install Trainz without lose the Installed content? I mean I have content from web pages that had already closed and there is no way to download this Content again.

Is any way to do that?

Simply reinstall into a different location. It won't overwrite your existing copy and you can still use the old copy if needed.

It's always a good idea to make a backup of your old installation first, replacing it with your new installation and all imported content, once you feel confident your new installation works ok.

Move your user data folder out side of the trainz folder then reinstall. After installed and updated move it back to the same place and do a data base repair.

If you uninstalled Trainz first ... then asked the question how to get it back ... and didn't save the "Folder", you lost everything.

1/ Backup folder "local"
2/ Delete entire trainz folder recursively
3/ Install trainz
4/ Overwrite folder "local" with your backup

obirek - I would not recommend stages 1 and 2 that you have given without alterations. For a start, it's UserData/original and UserData/local that need to be backed up, and Trainz does have it's own uninstaller (if it doesn't work for some reason it's better to use a third-party utility like Revo Uninstaller to remove all the components, especially as Trainz has more than just files.

Also, with stage 4, it's better to use File > Import Content in Content Manager.
