Unloading sand.... grrrr

Ok, I give up trying to unload sand, I am using M.I.N and 100ton WL&S 4bay hoppers.
I have chosen the second 'sand' item in the products list, loading is ok though it looks like coal but unloading it seems impossible.
I have 'Queues' set at zero, max is 1ton, size 1000, 'Processes' consume 10000tons, 'Products' 159 tonnes, 'Tracks' set at unload.
Any help more than welcome! Using Tane.

Check if you can get coal to unload instead, just to trouble shoot what might be the problem.

Could you also let us know which asset you use the unload (including the KUID)?

I'll try switching to coal and report the outcome. Using a mini test track till I get it right.

There are several factors involved in unloading:

1. The traincars need to have the product the industry wants.
2. The industry needs to have spare capacity to accept the load. i.e. its queue might be full.
3. You need to stop in the right place to unload. Generally, the HUD control in the bottom right hand corner will disappear during a load/unload.

TANE shouldn't make a difference.

Ok, I played around with this and had the same problem then I noticed that the queue size of 1,000 was way too small. I set it to 90,000 and the car unloaded. So you will need to times that by the number of cars you want to unload at any one time. Also make sure the sand in the queue is also the same one as in the car. I had to play around with that too.

Thanks, problem solved.
As a side note, when I am programming and have a problem I send the program to my son, the professional. It seems posting a cdp is frowned upon but seems the sensible method.

As long as that CDP only contains your content and not the dependencies made by others, I see no problem in posting a CDP.
Just make sure the dependencies can be found or are on the DLS.
