Me too. Must be difficult to make a 1080Ti look like a slide show.ECML downloaded this am. Attempted to run the route in Build 97513. With session "Flying Scotsman" out of Kings, Cross, very low frame rates at 4-5 Fps were observed. Route abandoned!!
Peter.
Me too. Must be difficult to make a 1080Ti look like a slide show.
After reading the comments above I ran ECML Flying Scotsman on two different gaming machines.
One my trusty i7-4790K @4.6 Ghz with an Asus GTX-1070 and Samsung 850 EVO SSD, and the other an i7-8700k with an EVGA GTX-1080Ti and running a Samsung 970 EVO PCIe SSD .
Both loaded very slowly the first time around due to pre-caching.
Jerky initial video pan-shot before being seated in the cab of the Deltic diesel on both.
After that, frame-rates improved markedly and progress was smooth on both rigs.
ECML has never looked better than now in TRS2019 - but there are still a few remaining visual issues with tunnels and legacy vegetation, etc.
Second runs were much faster to load and smoother again.
Did get a GSECTION::LoadMiniMap corruption assertion dialog upon 1st load with both installations, which needed to be cleared (and bug-report documented) before proceeding.
Solved here, updated version worked fine on number 2 PC. So decided to look at Resource Monitor, flipping Game bar crap was running and Game mode was on, I had turned it off it prior to updating to 1809, still off on number 2 PC, anyway turning it off......again, while in surveyor, instant fix. Flipping useless Microsoft unwanted crap. :n:
Getting fed up with fixing the OS after "feature Upgrades".
