Unknown Assets

How do I get rid of unknown assets out of my route, I have tried to delete them from the config file, but that doesn't seem to work. Only has kuid# and who its by, so if it is in the route I dont know what it is to go delete it out of the route. I have two by Conrail45 348207:101084 and 348207:101088. I have two by Simulatortrain 156765:100440 and 156765:101151.Thanks for any help. Using TRS2019 and update 98299.

In Surveyor > main menu > Delete missing assets.

No. The asset's config.txt file must be adjusted to replace the unknown asset with something suitable. For instance, if it's a horn sound in a loco then you can search for a replacement using Content Manager. Change the reference to the missing horn sound in config.txt at the hornsound tag and in the kuid-table.

However there are hundreds of them . . .and right now I don't have the time . . .so I just have to move on . . . sadly . . because there are many items that do not have a replacement that I can find . . . such as Clinchfield Railroad diesels that are Payware and have no alternative . . . . .

If they are payware from Jointed Rail, for instance, you can get the dependencies right on their website. The same should be the same for others such as RR-Mods for example, and DLC that should come down with the packages.

You should not have missing dependencies for payware assets. If the product does not work go back to the place that you purchased it and ask for a replacement.

I have had several unknown assets from Jointed Rail . . but to be fair they have mostly been the Freeware they offer . . .The one or two that were payware have been rectified as TRS2019 matures . . . .
