Union Pacific early Diesels

Pendolino

Cab mode weirdo
Hello,

I am looking for early Union Pacific Diesels to make some sessions on our upcoming Sherman Hill route, but so far I have only been able to find these:

- EMD F7A/B
- EMD GP9
- EMD SW7
- ALCo RS-3 (I doubt it was ever used on Sherman Hill)
- ALCo/GE 8500 HP turbine

I would like to make some sessions in the late '50s; is there some other suitable Diesel I have not been able to find on the DLS?

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure if UP had RS3s at all, but other than that, I think that you pretty much hit the nail on the head for what power you are going to get for UP diesels in the 1950s. There are probably a bunch of other early switchers that you could use if you were to either reskin, or get them reskinned into UP colors though. As for Road Switchers, there were pretty much only the RS series by ALCo, and GP7 and GP9 geeps, and SD7 and SD9 Triaxels for EMD. I am not sure if UP had them, but there are also FM trainmasters, a few of which are on the DLS, though not in UP colors. Also, don't forget the ALCo FA, and PAs for UP cab units.
