Unable to save in Trainz 2010

I have been using this program for almost a week now and have so far been unable to save my place in a route I am playing. I get all the correct dialog boxes and click the right buttons but when it comes to saving the game hangs and I just get the mouse cursor twilling round and round until I manually terminate the program. Anyone else experienced this problem?


Using Windows 7 (32bit) NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT with latest drivers.

Some of the big routes can take up to 15 minutes to save, where the sessions should only take 30 to 60 seconds. Whilst saving do not do anything to your PC or it will crash, more so if you Alt Tab out of it

Just a wild guess - you might need to run it in administrator mode.

Thanks chefbyte, started the save went and had a cup of coffee, can back 20 mins later and it had finished.
