Unable to run Trainz

I have had Trainz for a few years, the Trainz portal recognises my login and password but when i go to run Trainz it does not recognise it. I have not ben able to run Trainz so have wasted my money. Why will Trainz not recognise my login??

Have you entered the username and password in your trainz settings/MyTrainz?

What exactly happens when you enter your credentials? Enter name and password then try hitting TAB... wait for a response from the server. Tab key actually works better for me than Return key.
