unable to change route screenshot on routes using DEM's

My last two routes use DEMS and I have been faced with the scenario of not being able to change the route image thumbnail that can be seen in " select a route "when I take a screenshot, I can certainly take a screenshot in "edit route" mode, and it appears in the route image window until I save the route edit and then it disappears and i am left with the cursed TransDEM image as the thumbnail., I have not been able to change to the image I want no matter how many times I try to change it. I didn't have this issue with the Uintah rwy which was made using a DEM, but its persisted in all my other routes that used a DEM as a starter, does this have anything to do with the the transdem layers that are part of the route ? or some other cause ?

You could open the route in content manager and replace the thumbnail with a 240 x 180 thumbnail manually, just need to resize the desired screenshot and rename it.
Once you submit changes the thumbnail should be the new one.

That had occurred to me, but I'd also like to find out why this is occurring.Its far easier to do it in game.

I've had the same problem. When you take a screenshot for the route picture, it doesn't change for the route. However, take a look at the session created. The screenshot usually makes it there. What I do then is open both route and session for edit and copy/paste the screenshot from session to route. After that, it seems to work fine with a new screenshot.

This issue goes back to at least T:ANE or TRS19. I don't know if anyone ever reported the problem. When I want to change the route-thumbnail image, I do the same as what Bill does.
