Ultimate trainz collection

when i try to install the game and when i get to the thing where it asks company username and serial key i did that and it doesnt work :(. help please im really mad at this and wanna play this game

Hi and welcome to Trainz,

The most probably reason why it does not work is that you did not register your serial key to your username. Your username is SpecR_LAMBOGTRLM and you can register your serial key to that name here.
Look at the "stations" showing next to your forum name and mine. When you have registered your version, it will show yours next to your name.

If it's rejecting the serial number during installation of the game, this usually means that a character has been mistyped, or if it's one long box, not putting in the dashes.

Also be aware that UTC is only the second version of Trainz. It is EXTREMELY outdated. It has no interactive industries and no support for proper steam locomotive sounds and enginespecs. It's also not supported by N3V Games and you'll need a First Class Ticket to access the DLS.

If you do enjoy that version of Trainz and want more options, consider purchasing (and registering) TS2010 or TS12. :)

I went to the website and putted my serial key in all caps and when i hit submit it says serial number not found

Welcome to Trainz and the forums!

Have you ever logged in here before as a previous user? If so use the same username as you had previously and that should help you register your software.

If you continue to have problems registering your program, please contact the helpdesk by using the link above in forum banner. Someone on the helpdesk will assist you.

Thank you and regards,

Back a couple of years ago, N3V dropped all support of all Trainz programs before Trainz Classic. I wonder if that includes the serial number registration?

You need to have the original E-Mail address ... the original Username that the game was registered under ... and type in the code exactly ... the Company name is usually left blank.

I find that even TRS2006 is lacking, so I bought TS10 ... TS12 is better ... and using SP1 you can run the NKP berkshire pack.

What are your PC specs ... video card ... CPU speed in GHz ?

Register the game at: https://www.auran.com/planetauran/SN_Enter_Serialnumber.php

i have typed the serial code and it says serial number not found and i have done it exactly.

If that's the case, you may need to check with Helpdesk, as they are the only ones who can deal with serial number issues.

The name was used twice. The first was Trainz 1.5 but then later offered in some markets, a combo pack of TRS2004, TRS2006 and the 4 CDs of routes designed for TRS2006 was sold for a while. It may have been the distributors that chose to use the same name again. I've seen some boxes that have Trainz Collection and others that have Trainz Ultimate Collection but both had TRS2004 and TRS2006.

I have the 'combo pack' - it's called Trainz Collection not UTC. :)

Direct from Auran that was the name but here in the USA, some retailers carried a version called Trainz Ultimate Collection. It was a bargain bin item for several years at Office Max. I search for a cover shot but couldn't find one. As I recall it was a split screen with the TRS2004 cover on the left half and TRS2006 on the right half. It was $5 during the time Trainz Classic 1 & 2 was on sale here.

I stand corrected. It will be interesting to find out which version the OP actually has.

No way for you to know. I think the US distributor may have re-packaged it. We also got TC1 & 2 in a bundle called Trainz Railwayz which included an updated version of TRS2006. I'm not sure what is different other than the Trainz Exchange link was removed from the menu. I just remember it because I bought it to get the route CDs. I gave 04 and 06 to a friend.
