A couple of my larger routes are available on there as they were too big for the DLS. However you should be able to find these on Train-sim.com too, which still requires you to register but is a bit more generous with the free access if you really don't want to pay the sub. (These days the "All Nodes are Busy" message rarely pops up). On the other hand, UKTS allows you to purchase a monthly membership, which is dirt cheap in real terms.
My current TRS project is also likely to be a whopper route if/when finished. The raw gnd file is 482Mb (not sure what that compresses to in a cdp) and even though a fair number of baseboards will be trimmed from that, the object placement tends to balance out.
IMHO High time the DLS upload limit was increased to something like 250Mb to cater for the larger routes out there thus avoiding the dependence on third party sites.
