UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

D7017 approaches Sea Lane Crossing, Dunster, with a short freight train:

For those who asked, the GWR 2884 class in my last screenshot is payware from Paulz Trainz, updated with TC3 steam effects and my own (beta) sounds and e-spec.

@FSP - all GWR loco's were in fact right hand drive, but as with all bar one twin track line in this country, driven on the left. The loco is wrong line in that shot just because the line is at a terminus, and signalled for bi-directional running. Paulz Trainz also have some 4 and 6 wheel coaches available.

hth,

Anthony
Just a quicky question whats the track you useing?thanks in advance

@2995valliant-Are you planning to release your wsr for free\payware in the future?
As i for one would pay good money for it!
It's a brilliant route, way better than railwaves'

The WSR is looking great Anthony!!:D

Am i right in thinking that thats LMS_MAN's GWR 5101 loco, it looks great!! Also, are those carriages MK1's, i assume they are in the payware WSR pack.

Cheers

@2995Valliant
Is your WSR route a retexture of Just Trains Train Driver or is it built from scratch? Either way, it's very impressive!

1744 nears Crowcombe with a demonstration freight train during the WSR 2011 autumn gala:

@AB80135 - it's a personal re-skin of R3's UK bullhead using mostly McGuirel's textures, but R3's original sleeper texture, and a dulled down rail-head. I keep meaning to ask McGuirel if I can release it.

To those who've asked about the route it's what the Railwaves one looks like after about 7 year's worth of tinkering and upgrading, including re-profiling every embankment and cutting by hand.....

@Nexus - thanks! Your routes don't look too shabby either!!!! Having spent far too much time on Rugby station on the 80and early 90's, I really enjoy your "BR blue under the wires" shots.

Regards,

Anthony

I love the 'Use System Time' rule, means when testing my route I get different lighting and time each time.. Got some rather cool shots at 7pm!

I see you are using LieLestoSbrats original GNR N2 1744, he has uploaded a newer version to the DLS with corrected lining on the front wheel splasher and Gresley Society plate fitted.

I have thought about modifying my Just Trains WSR route but don't relish the thought of spending 7 years doing it!

This route is looking great - which animated junctions did you use for your update please? They blend in well with the track.

They are andi's original ones, however I have retextured them to match the newer HP-Track, they originally used the MP-track which was obsoleted if I remember..

I emailed Andi about updating the track libraries but have had no reply. But I suppose for own use I can email the updated textures until permission is gained. I see no reason why it will be denied as the older textures are now obsolete and useless.

And thanks for your comments!

new Turntable

Well is not quit new at all.
Somewhere in a unknown location of the United Kingdom in a world whit out people 100 years latter, with heavy rains and with out any repairmen-ts and any care but yet working this turntable shows the high tech engineering of the British.
This new reskin going to be available to in the site of Anthony.
the derelict and sinister Box cars are scenery and track side objects who gonna be available in the dls whit two formats (trackside&scenery) they have a normal maps and each one have 7k polys with lods 4.5k, 2k and 900 polys they gonna be a serial of 10 different box wagons deformed but the main mesh and textures will be the same. They can be rotated in all directions allow to simulate a lay down box cars as a accident event. i hope you enjoy them.
