UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Nice shots there andytee1...

Can you tell me the name or kuid number of the large wall or embankment you have to the right of the first 3 pictures you have in the thread...?
Hi BRClass66
It's one of the FMA elevating sidewalls. Not sure which one exactly but there are several, and all pretty good.

awesome picture.

where can i get this wonderful route?(if this is route)

thanks.

Where do you all think this is...

If it's definitely a southern terminus station then it can't be Epsom downs as that's got 1 platform .

Can't be Tattenham corner because that has 3 .

I thought it may of been Caterham but that has a stabling road next to the nearest platform road .

I'd said possibly Seaford ?

=================================================================

@ Shane . It's called "UK lattice walkover platform" by pgmetcalf on the DLS (2006) kuid:82763:1137

The platforms are made up of edge splines and tarmac tops by TMZ06003 :

Platform tarmac edge safety slabs and line kuid:283805:37004 (2004) on the DLS

Platform top spline comes in various sizes including 2 sizes from me .

===========================================================

@ Magic The : The route in the screenshot is the latest version of Midshire that I'm currently building.

The same station area is already available on the version of Midshire that is on the DLS to download : Midshire Mainline v3 kuid:45317:100810:2

Seaford has one platform, if I remember rightly - it's been 10 years since I last visited.

Yep I checked the southern map and matched all the terminus stations with pics on google earth and that's the closest match I could find even though it only has one track in real life ?

Definitely not Bognor or littlehampton (I've already modelled that ;) )

That only leaves Uckfield and East Grinstead and I believe they are both diesel only ?

No, only Uckfield is dieselised. They use Class 171s on that route, East Grinstead is electrified and thus sees the Elplastostars. On the other hand, East Grinstead (Bluebelle Line) IS dieselised and set some distance back from East Grinstead.

Anyway, to flog a dead horse... so you think!

Hi cjgeddes96 This loco was a commissioned work i made for Chris Sullivan the user Cvkiwi from New Zealand if you are really interested on that you can pm to him im sure they can solve this.
More info about this loco.

The NZR DSG class is a type of diesel-electric shunting locomotive used in New Zealand. The class shares a central cab design with the smaller DSC class shunting locomotive, and is twin-engined. Meanwhile, the very similarly designed, single-engined DSJ class, has a cab that is offset from the centre.
The DSG class shunters were built in four batches from 1981 to 1983 and have seen widespread use throughout New Zealand, particularly in larger yards and for port traffic. They also see service on sections of mainline, performing regional shunt duties in a number of areas.
Engine builder Toshiba Heavy industry's Japan.

A King hauled Cheltenham Flyer rattles through Secombe on the Gwladys Ddu layout - but never to arrive at Cheltenham!

Cheers. It's on the DLS KUID2:69518:28201:1.

@ robd - I'm pretty sure the Chetenham Flyer was always a Castle turn :p Good shot though. BTW, thanks for the heads up on the N2

Talking of Castles, here's one I dredged up out of the screenshots folder:

Nice screenie also, Anthony.

Correct re: Castles for the Flyer but after the Kings were found unsuitable for the job. I think they used Castles and Kings at first but the Castles were found to be better suited to the route.

I use a skipper1945s' King EdwardII because it has a headboard attachment, skipper1945s' Castles' don't, unfortunately.
