UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

You shouldn't hate saying this, criticism is what I need in order to improve. I have already said it wouldn't be accurate, but I'm always working on it. I'll have to have a closer look at pics and, explore GMAX a bit more, because my model is made of seperate parts put together leaving small cracks and dents and the textures are so delicate and it's hard to get them just right.

Remember, constructive always helps. If its crap, say why, otherwise, how do you improve? :) I know, I've gone through it, although I don't know how others react as I am always open to criticism for much of the same reason. Obviously, you do ask and you don't get. :S

I'm always wary of causing offense with criticism, constructive or otherwise. Some people take it badly even if it is trying to be helpful. There was a thread recently about the same thing I recall.

Scratchlight, I've sent you a PM regarding possible changes so as to keep this thread on topic.

Cheers.

Wesley1 I would ask this question on other forums, or search it up. They way I did it was just using Paint.NET, which is a free picture editing software. All of my reskins are made using this, and its really good for free software :)

And by the way, stationmistress, Suburbia UK looks EXCELLENT!! It would be really good if (as you say) that goes on the DLS! :udrool:

Anyways, on the subject of reskinning, look what just came out of the paint shed...

Yep, Meridian is having livery change on all their consists, starting with the Class 377's! Here are some more pictures...

The front of the train

The interior has also been updated, the most notable change are the seats. Note that on the left hand side, the text is backwards. This is simply because the train reflects the seats skin. Meh.

And the sides of the lighting and luggage rails have also been decorated

Comments, good or bad, constructive criticism or what could be improved is greatly accepted! :hehe:

More coming soon!

Cheers,
Bernard

Next out of the Paintshed are the Class 369's, which now have they're own unique livery...

Meanwhile 120 miles north of East London, humid tempratures have meant that a big storm has broken out over the midlands, and Stenstone is feeling the worst of it-what a great way to under the summer :hehe:

At Oxted, a lone Class 156 arrives

On Platform 8 at Stenstone, an FTPE Class 185 awaits its departure to Manchester Piccadilly via Derby

And on the mainline, a Midland Mainline Class 222 and a HST take shelter under the canopy, as lightening flashes across the sky

Once again, for the reskins (and any of my work if you want to :hehe: ) feel free to comment, good or bad, its greatly accepted!! :D

Cheers,
Bernard

Just a few more from Midshire Mainline v4, having spent lots of time tweaking to my enjoyment with many assets off the DLS, they do make a small difference, even from our American creators and reskinners, thanks to everyone concerned, enjoy.

Thanks to fudginator and nexus for the route, it's brilliant......

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.
