Marky, have you seen the photos of Combe Halt in this month's RAIL magazine?

Here's Pikkabird's faithful old 101 DMU leaving Sunderland which has been totally rebuilt today.I started off just intending to alter a bridge!

A route that's been sitting around on my hard disk for ages (since 04 first came out!) that I've been inspired by the ECML in 2010 to do some work on:

Great shots all!

BTW Tankbob, hasn't somebody done the North Tyne Loop as the T&W Metro? If he used DEM maps you could save a lot of work by simply redoing the route.....

A Deltic heads south through Sunderland before the station turned into the claustrophobic hellhole it is now!

tyne loop

Hi lewisner

the loop i am doing used to come off the ecml at byker then drop through a tunnel down to st peters and ran along the river side through st anthony`s low walker point pleasant then joined the coast loop at i think howden its a short line but goes through built up areas and the shipyards.

cheers bob

Lewisner, what are the retaining wall and communication cables you use in your shot of Sunderland? I have a single communication cable from woodhead, is it a multibple of that?

Cheers.

riverside loop

hi lewisner

Yes a bit of a nightmare for the built up areas,i used to see dmu`s on the line mostly for shipyard workers and the odd steel carrier which when we were kids u could sit on the back of and ride the line to walker from byker health n safety never heard of then,it will take some building but ive plenty of time now.

cheers bob

my brother sent me it as a kind of birthday present thing. I'll have a closer look at it because he says that he did it himself and I don't quite know.

Sorry to sound greedy, but do you have plans on releasing it? Tell your brother he did a great job! Does he have Trainz too?

Dave I agree with Kimmy, you make excellent content and reskins, it would be a great shame if you were to stop reskinning and posting screenshots.

Great shots everyone
