UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Looking fantastic Marky, this is going to be one of the best UK routes when you are finished.

One small point, how about using rusty bullhead rails for the catch point?

Hi,

the shot that has the stop sign and the platform 5th photo.... can u tell me the name of that stop sign. I did have it but lost a lot of content and am slowly getting soem back. I have searched for stop sign or just stop and heaps come up but haven't seen that particular stop sign (the one with the big red dot). If you could tell me the name of that asset i would appreciate it.

thanks

Koolboy
btw.... nice shots

Great shots everyone :D

Some from the Looe Valley Line:

CoombeJunction01.jpg

A Class 153 from Liskeard at Coombe Junction, here trains have to reverse to continue their journey toward Looe. Points have to be changed by the guard today, years ago it had its own signal box.

CoombeJunction02.jpg

Once the points are reset the guard can rejoin the train, and it can make its way towards Looe.

CoombeJunction03.jpg

The line on the left goes up to Liskeard and the line on the right goes down to Looe.

CoombeJunction04.jpg

Looking north, The Moorswater viaduct can be seen in the distance towering above the valley floor, which carries the mainline. Coombe Junction Halt can also just be seen.

CoombeJunction06.jpg

The is Coombe Junction Halt (until recently it just named Coombe), This is the quietest station in Cornwall, and one of the quietest in the whole country, which is why only a couple of trains a day call here, most reverse at the junction itself. Past the stopboard is the freight only section to the cement works at Moorswater.

CoombeJunction07.jpg

Looking south towards Coombe Junction.

CoombeJunction08.jpg

Looking south, Coombe No 2 GF is in the foreground, whilst Coombe Junction halt is in the background, on the right of the current track there was a passing loop for steam locos to run around, this however is long gone.

@tmz06003: Great idea, I will do this when I'm next in Trainz.

@koolboy: You need to look up "stop board" on the DLS, I have made seven of them. Make sure you tick TRS2004 too.

Nexusdj, again with the photographs!:hehe: Remember, this is a screenshot forum, not a photography exhibit!

And also, you've got it all wrong. Ipswich does not look like that over here.:D It's underneath a shopping centre and gets served by QR, not BR:p

And on that bombshell, enough ranting from me.
Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.

Nice shots guys!

Those are some nice Boeing 747 jumbo jets you've got there :)
I'm just wondering.... iv looked on the dls for 747s after i saw that picture and found lots by vulcan the dude who made the spitfire for trainz so just wondering do they actually fly cause I'm thinking of building an airport on the layout i showed a week or so ago

@hope5: yes, the 747 and the A380 are BOTH fly-driveable, you just have to have the aircraft loop back for landing
cool:cool: thanks the quick reply iv just been on his website and can see hes got allot more planes preparing to come to a airport near you than before :hehe:
I'm a big fan of plans as i am of trains so when ever there's a chance to get my hands on a Boeing 747 to a messerscmit bf109 i take it im going to post some shots of the newly built airport on my route i posted a week or so ago where iv got the route plan so far written on paper.
might even make a video of it if i figure out how to.

i know iv been told not to be a naughty boy for asking for help :hehe:

Well you can't go wrong with loads of trees and mix up your textures.
