Yeh RJL, there are many things that need making full stop or replacing. My 60 and the 158 and 175 all replace a model that is out of date or fill a gap and that is the arrangement that I intend to try and keep to.

Personally, I think it's up to the creator to decide what they make, but it's also quite understandable if those of us less talented groan a little inwardly when there's a third version of the class 66 (for instance) in production, and several useful classes (especially multiple units) unrepresented. It's also pretty tough making another version of a loco that has been built by the likes of Eldavo, as there are bound to be comparisons made. However, several creators have come out with frankly jaw-dropping first locos (e.g. LieLestosBrat's MN), so no-one should be discouraged from trying...

Oh, and as it's actually a screenshots thread...

would have posted them yesterday but didnt have time, worked all day then took the mrs to dinner (yup i am a gentleman), i made all this just to make those scenes, no track etc just what you see there...

Frankly i'm not gonna stop building this as ive done so much to it now. I know I will never match up to eldavo or that this model will be any better than eldavo's cause i havent got that skill yet but I think everyone who is against me doing it is very selfish! what about the people who can't afford to just go "ooooh that's nice" then order it straight away?

Good on your RJL I agree that everyone should be allowed to build content they want to I think your models are nice and I'am look forward to seeing the complete 66, 58 and 92. You're right not evryone can get or wants payware. I myself have brought payware but I do agree that these models are good for the people that can't order them staright away.

That's coming on nicely rjl! I don't think anyone was doubting the quality of your work, just that your choice of prototype is bound to raise comparisons with Eldavo's. Go for it I say! I look forward to seeing a good freeware 58 and 92 so I can include them in uploaded sessions...

Don't you dare you call me selfish when you've never even met me, I gave you my opinion and advice I am not 'against you' per se. If you wish to go on despite what I said that is your choice and I'll happily respect you but you have no right to throw personal accusations around at people you haven't met and don't know. If you knew me you might know that being selfish is something I do my very best to avoid being.
