[COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]6:04 AM- Almost 30 minutes have passed with no traffic, but then the pair of engines sputter out of the yard. The wagons were ready more than 15 minutes ago, but the engines coupled up only 4 minutes ago.

6:17 AM- It was getting somewhat late, so I hopped onto a passenger led by 24075 back to St. Coven, to catch the day express to Forewick.

I can see them no problem. If you want to maintain resolution, I'd recommend using flckr. That's what I use.

I can view them, it must be a client-only issue. The thing is that image-hosting services water down the pictures to a hideous resolution, so I tried to DL them to the post, guess it doesn't work. I'll fix it.

I switched to Flickr and re-uploaded a while ago, I was previously trying to DL from DropBox.

The 10.50 up branch train prepares to leave Much Murkle with a rather battered set of aged Billinton coaches.

More from my fictional route:

A Class 508, still in Merseyrail Livery, crawls along the sharp curve from the surface to the Underground Tunnels, forming the Circle Line Service.

The same Class 508 leaving the tunnels at the other end to rejoin the mainline towards Exton Central Station, the Highspeed line running alongside:

At some point I'll get a series of lovely custom liveries for the passenger trains.

Excellent shots all! :D

Newbury station, between Manor Park and Boston Junction on the Wendsey Lines:

A set of Desiros work a service to Hadley Junction

477623 forms the rear portion of the Connisey stopping service:

478404 emerges from Boston tunnel with the service to Wendsey South:

478311 on the first of the new Valdore Trains service extensions, which sees the half-hourly Easthill Victoria - Wendsey Central train extended to Perintree every 2 hours, with future plans to increase to hourly service. Here seen on its way back to Easthill:

Think I may have gone overboard with the screenshots today...

A pair of Class 86s power uphill along the Extonian High Line, my tribute to the Woodhead line, hauling Coal in HAA hoppers. This shot was taken on the incline between Ashburys Junction (Where the Underground line leaves the route, and Guide Bridge.

This may be a fictional route, but I'm keeping the Woodhead Tribute's stations almost the same.

The same train, with its back end still passing Guide Bridge Station.

The steady march of progress for Valdore Trains, as the first of 12 class 478/6 units are unveiled to the public. They will be used to strengthen the fleet after the timetable extensions:

Demonstrator unit 478606 arrives at Newbury with its first ever passenger service, joined by 478319 on the rear:

The new livery in action:

The redesigned interior, based on that of the class 487, is much more subdued:

Speaking of class 487s, Valdore Trains' batch of 30 3 car class 487/1s are almost all in service supplementing class 502s on the Leadstone City network. Here 487103 and 487129 arrive at Boston junction under testing, accumulating miles and testing the multiple working and single-unit power system. In between them is Hayden Trains 487016, providing power for the set on the Wendsey lines as the 487/1s are not equipped with Pantographs:

The 487s have several advanced features such as single-unit power, which allows several units coupled together (up to 15 car formations) to take power from a single unit, and improved readability PIS screens. Unfortunately this makes them incompatible with the rest of the class 47x series (470, 475, 476, 477, 478 and 479) electrically. They can still physically couple to a 47x in emergencies, but must be dragged dead (The new 478/6s were designed to be compatible with the rest of the 47x series, as they will need to work in multiple with 477/7 and 478/3s on a regular basis, and so, although based on the class 487, do not feature some of the advanced features like single-unit power).
