lewisner*,
So even the older version never showed up on the DLS (or anywhere else), right? That certainly explains why I couldn't find it under your ID or anyone else's (I checked for "Sunderland" and many other possible names), for that matter.
A pity, it looks so good, I could forgive the incorrect orientation and elevation and just treat it as if it were a fictional line (at least until the more prototypically correct version comes out) - I should have a couple of years in this 66-year-old body, I guess!
> Do you think this looks any good?
Well, the line, train and scenery (apart from the nearer bushes - 'best to use higher resolution ones nearer the line) look wonderful, but the picture has an odd fuzzy quality to it (for TS2010, or TS12 which I am now used to). Is that just due to the "camera" following the moving train or is it an effect of using TS2010 compatibility mode?
Are the screenshots you've been posting from the new version in progress or the from old one?
It occurs to me that, if you are expecting to take another two years to complete the route, you should upgrade to TS12 now as new TS12 routes are already appearing on the DLS and you will find that a lot of the assets you have had to correct have newer corrected and improved versions available in TS12.
I presume a route-builder would not need any permissions to use others' assets (available publicly on the DLS or elsewhere) on his/her uploaded route (if unmodified) - I'm open to correction that, but have always assumed it to be so.
Could you just list all the names of the stations on your route, so we can see the geographical extent, please?
And ... keep up the good work - we're all looking forward to it (and shall try not to pester you too much along the way)!
Peter
* Sorry, I can't find your forename anywhere - the profile don't seem to show them anymore.
