Matt
Where did you get that 25?

Someone requested one of the liveries, so I did a what if on 2 of them, the Merseyrail one and the Southern one and yes, that is Southern's south coast livery as used on the 313s, of which 5 are out of action, one became a smoker (caught fire at Brighton early December 2011), one has a tree growing out of one of the ends, after it hit a tree near me (Bosham is 1.5miles from here -thats where it hit the tree) and 3 have got flashed over motors, which means the motors have to be given a full rebuild as it often damages the armature and field coils! That's why you don't get an electric train wet!

The 377s are just in bad shape, most of them have hit trees, my dad was on one on the 05/01/2012 and it hit a tree, apparently, he heard this THUMP, clonk, clonk, clonk and it lost a few shoes.

Oh my god percy... what have you done!?

The Stainer 8F is a really large and imposing engine.

I know, but the original origins of TTTE is england. And most of the engines are based off of British prototypes. Henry the green engine - Stainer black 5.
Thomas the tank engine - E2 tank engine.

Thankyou Frédo.

If only I could get on with it, I get distracted far too much, need to add more scenery not just fiddle with trains!

Dear Friends from Great Britain,
was there 2 or 3 axle compartment coaches in GB in service?
Just like those one:

I have discovered two objects, but I am a bit confused about their paint scheme.
And at least: Was such coaches anytime in service?

Yes, there were many such coaches used in the later 19th Century and the early 20th century. They were quickly displaced by bogie coaching stock on all but the most humble of duties.

I have some articles and drawings if they are of interest.

Regards,

Anthony

A quick screenie of 3850 waiting time at Bishops Lydeard. Tender first on a dark wet December late afternoon - pity the poor crew!

Some questions about this picture:
  • What is the steamer please? It looks very interesting. (EDIT: I did not find it here.)
  • Does the steamer drive the "right" lane? Because, I thought in GB is left hand traffic.
