A route 82 to Charing Cross travels through Maze Hill

God, how I remember that place when the EPBs were running. It was apparently quicker to get to the Queens House (my dad was dealing with audio tour guides at the time) from Maze Hill then Greenwich, especially with the amount of equipment my dad was carrying, like his Motorola mobile phone which had a massive battery and apparently good for whacking commuters with, should they inevitably annoy you or get in your way.

You know you can use an EPB and it would still look authentic? Theres one on my home server: http://81.6.245.27/files/

Great shots, especially from paulper, Nexusdj and marky.

@paulper- the more I see of New Cross the more I like it! Have you seen the coach from EMU 1884 in Deptford High Street? It's on a piece of track and is being used as a cafe- in a very interesting livery:eek:
I'm wondering if there is an older brick depot building somewhere that may be useful for the ELL depot...

@WEN- Agreed, I think your stock would be very suitable for this route as would your WIP class 377 (and re-liveried as a class 375). Also, didn't you mention a networker somewhere?

Thanks tmz06003 - I'm waiting for a Networker to take the place of the 313's - I consider these to be the nearest thing we have to a passenger enabled Networker that also offers an internal view in the carriages. I also use some Southern payware 377's as a substitute for Southeastern. Over to you WEN(!)...

EPB's would certainly not look out of place and there's some on my line at Slade Green depot and Dartford sidings in case I fancy taking one out for a trip! I shall try and post some screenies including them.

I've not seen the old EMU - am going that way tonight, so I'll keep a look out!

Cheers,
Paulper

Two from my very unfinished Shoeburyness - Fenchurch Street (eventually)

A GBRf class 66 takes a rake of retired EPB stock through Shoeburyness taking the branch to the MoD sidings

RetiredEPBstock.jpg

The 66 rumbles over Shoeburyness high street, just no one told the crossing keeper she was comming till the last minuite. (actually the gates were raising when this was taken , is there anyway to get them to lower a little more prototypicly? And stay lowered.

Yes, I downloaded the ATLS assets and experimented. They work great and you can place the trigger so the trains do not need to slow down.

A search on the DS for ATLS will bring them up.

Oh ya...in the 40s and 50s CP Rail utilized various ships and airplanes until they decided to just stick with trains.

Thanks for the info and sorry to hijack the thread.

Rob, LieLestoSbrat's Rebuilt Merchant Navy class loco, kuid2:101839:1000:1, is one of the best steamers made for Trainz. Well worth downloading and giving it a run out - it would be interesting to see what it can do on US/Canadian grades!
