UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

There is actually a spline based on the real Temple Meads canopy available on the DLS, the one Angelah is using is from the AJS station kit.

Temple Meads roof: KUID: 71378:1138

Hope that helped

Picture below??

If that's the one in the screenshot below, thanks.

Not sure which picture you want us to look at, is it the goat?

The DS station roof is for either 2006 or TC3 I think and is not available for 2004, the version of Trainz I use to create routes. I do have TC3 and looked at it, it's good.
I did ask the asset creator of they would convert the asset so I could use it but they never replied. So I used the AJS station kit assets instead, not quite right but as near as possible to Bristol Temple Meads.
You will need to reset the canopy to Barrel from the default Gable.

I have not had many quiries about the route so assume it is running okay once the requirements for correct use are put into practice, such as resetting several assets.

Excellent, the perfect route to test my AC EMUs on (Class 302/305/307/317s)

Wont be ready for ages so don't wait up (track work only as far as Thorpe Bay and a bit bogged down with scenery) but I'll try to release it in stages. Will all the above EMUs work for 04 if not can they be modified to work with 04 (I'll need a rundown on how to get 06 onwards bogies to show up in 04)

Cheers for the interest WEN

:D

AJS

The screenshot I'm referring to is the one I posted at #6763 and it's the large roof/canopy over the station and tracks.

That's the AJS station canopy roof, not sure what it's called precisely. It's just curved a bit and has the AJS canopy ends in position at the ends but NOT actually attached otherwise they dive some way inside the roof.
Can't remember the wide, there are several to choose from so I expect that is a wide one with ends to match.

The Spennymoor - Bishop Auckland line closed to passengers in 1952 (although occasional miners/football specials ran until 1963), and freight in 1966. Unlike the Bishop Auckland-Durham line it was mostly single track and I imagine had a very traditional branch line flavour. Unfortunately information on this line is quite hard to come by so I've had to make some educated guesses.

This set of screenshots shows the northern end of the line (Spennymoor - Byers Green); once I've made a bit more progress on the scenery on the southern end I'll show some shots on that bit too. I've used the BR Blue era in these shots as a "might have been" but I'm sure it would look just as good with an ex-NER G5 and a short rake of push-pull coaches... ;)

A ballast train traverses the double track section west of Spennymoor (where the portal terminating this part of the line is located) bound for Bishop Auckland.

Approaching Burnhouse Junction, where the NER Todhills branch (which served the original Byers Green station) used to diverge. The line to Bishop Auckland curves to the left.

Approaching the "new" Byers Green station.

Entering the avoiding line at Byers Green. From what I can tell from old maps this section was actually single track throughout, but I've added the avoiding line for operational flexibility.

Waiting for the road at Byers Green. From here to Coundon is again single track.

...and finally, someything a bit arty:

Next up: The line south to Coundon.

Just a couple of things i've done recently.

Hi sonne, will these OHLE be realeased at all as we sont really have any good ones for trainz and when i clapped my eyes on your pics my jaw dropped to the floor, are they in spline form or seperate items?

Sonne, I like the look of the overhead kit you've been working on of late. I'm working on some of my own DC Woodhead 1500v stuff, and was wondering what sort of polygon levels your using on your modern stuff. Main reason being to have a rough idea of level of detail I should be looking at on my woodhead kit.

Well, these are British Rail locos, but, none of the screenies are in the U.K.

Firstly, the newly upgraded German layout Niddertalbahn plays host to Classes 56 and 60. Secondly, the French layout - La route de Manon features another 60 and a 92.......I've just added a few accessories along the way.

Another Departure Board I've been working on. A re-work of my Suspended departure board to give a a support for where there is no roof/canopy to hang it on. Now uploaded to my site.

Hello Andy,

Well, this French route is on the DLS, called la route de manon and it's TRS2004, so, I guess all the assets are as well, however, there's so many different gantries and wires by different creators, from the Czech Republic and France, etc, I'll have to check the kuid numbers on the map for you later and let you know.....

Which picture with the catenery shown interested you the most, as being created in Europe, I wouldn't know if it's MK1, MK11 or MK500000 ......:hehe:
