Turntable Issues

The track stubs are invisible when the turntable is installed although they are present. So in Driver it appears there is a gap between the turntable itself and the track that leads off. To counteract this I've laid unconnected tracks on top of the stub tracks to give the appearance that the track is complete.
Okay, that's not the issue though.

I'm having the same problem. I've have some (very limited) success with turntables on some old routes that I built in T:ANE and imported to TS:22... might be worth some experimentation.

I tried that a little while ago for another issue I was having in 22, the route is incompatible though. The map won't show up in older versions.

I'm going to do some more experimentation later today. This is the general plan:

1. Create a single-baseboard route in T:ANE.
2. Place the turntable, stub tracks, and roundhouse sections.
3. Export and import it into TS:22. Merge it into my TS:22 route, off to the side somewhere.
4. Drag the turntable (it should bring its stubs and so forth with it) into where it's supposed to be. Connect up all the tracks.

I tried this yesterday and it worked once, but when I tried to do it again it broke. So I'm going to try to figure out why it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

So, what do we do about this? Is it because it's not on the DLS and so overlooked?

If the yellow "track" is not used anywhere, get the asset, copy the name of it (highlight the name and press CTRL-C) and then close the route.

Go to Content Manager and paste the name in the search box.
Select the asset.
Click on Content on the menu above.
Choose Disable.

Open the route again in Surveyor.
Run the Delete Missing Assets utility.

The yellow "track" will be removed from the route.
Go back to Content Manager and enable the yellow track again.

That is a weird issue!

I got a turntable to work in TS2022. The turntable I'm using is "VR 70ft BG Hand Operated Turntable" <kuid2:1854:31520:1> by VicTrainz.

1. Edit in Surveyor Classic
2. Delete turntable
3. Move all the stubs and roundhouse sections back a little bit
4. Place the turntable again
5. Rotate the turntable 180 degrees
6. Re-connect all the stubs and roundhouse sections

I have no idea why it worked, and I have no idea if it'll work for anyone else. But I thought I'd share it here in case it helps someone else.

Same here, did that on a French route / session by Vincent. Others thought - like the "Northwest Logging" by Slovak_Eagle I am at a loss as the shed and turntable are 1 asset.

Yeah this didn't fix anything for me.
