After I did the latest update with the Trainz PE. The Trainz Platinum 129335 now has the animation humping issues!
I start scrolling thru my map and the humping starts happening and never stops. the Carz and the smoke stacks including the side menu pic rotating viewer is humping also. It is now broken just like the other Trainz 2022 Plus updates.
Why is this happening? The Trainz 122411 does not have this issue.

I have now tested other Maps such as Kickstarter Country and West of Denver and there is no animation humping issues, but there is a hard FPS hit when scrolling thru the areas. Why is this happening mainly with My Custom Map?

Before the 22 Platinum update it was good and the FPS and animations where smooth when scrolling around to different areas.
After this latest update all of the Maps such as West of Denver and other Maps have hard FPS hits when scrolling to different areas.

I don't have any DLC on my copy of TRS22PE but West of Denver runs fine on Trainz Plus.

My most complex TRS22 route also runs well (no animation "humping" or FPS issues) despite areas of high detail.

One point to note is that immediately after installing an update there will usually be some caching issues and this may be the cause, or at least part of the cause. My advice is to wait until this "settles" and try again.

Thank You pware for your reply. :)
I did a new clean Local folder with no pay ware or heavily loaded assets for my custom Map only.
It took 2 Hours to download all of the dependencies that I needed to have for it.
Total size of the Local folder was 16 gigs.
I loaded it up and all seemed good for a bit, then I started scrolling across my Map, and the humping animations started again.
You are correct the default West Of Denver runs smoothly.
It must be an asset in my Map that does not like the later Trainz updates.
Wholly Molly :censored:it is going to be tough to find that troubled asset.

it is going to be tough to find that troubled asset.
A technique that I have sometimes used with Content Manager is to:-
  1. list all the building and scenery assets in the route that have been Installed from DLS or Modified (the most likely sources of the issue). Assets with large file sizes are high on the suspect list but are not always the cause.
  2. select the first 5 (or 10) and disable them (from the Content menu)
  3. Run the route to see if the problem persists
  4. If it does persist then in CM select those disabled assets and enable them (right click on one and select Enable)
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 5 with the next 5 (or 10) assets and so on
If the issue disappears (or noticeably decreases) then the culprit is most likely one of the disabled assets. Enable the first one and run the route again and repeat with each asset until the problem returns.

I started going thru all of my assets 10 at a time as you suggested and have not found any issues with them as of yet.
I did notice that if I scroll around my Map area's slowly and carefully the humping does not happen, only when I move around in big chunks of ground going forward with my Mouse Cursor and I stop and wait the humping continues doing it's thing.
When the humping starts again, what I found out is to go back to slow scrolling around and then the humping stops and smooths out. :)
Very weird as this is not an issue with the 122411 and earlier builds. The latest build of the Trainz 2022+ Alpha has this issue very severely.

SP5 is more system intensive and puts a lot more strain on the components. I have found that since SP5, my RTX3080 really cranks its fans hard as it struggles to stay cool. The previous versions weren't has hard on the system.

Experiencing the same issue on Build 129343
Noticed it happening on my DEM route, was fine before updating.
It seems to happen when you move around and then jump back to the train it starts the jittery performance.
Checked task manager and nothing is maxing out.

My specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.50GHZ
32.0GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060ti

My trainz is also installed on a dedicated NVME (as well as content)

Virtually makes trainz unplayable.

I will submit a ticket anyway.

I too noticed this and also submitted a ticket. I asked for a build rollback to the previous build that worked, in all my years of trainz, this is a first, and unacceptable, not that I'm not surprised. It's probably related to non-membership builds.
