Tunnel making

Hello all,

Been trying to make a tunnel with no success. I've looked trough the forum and can't find anything. Could some one let me know how to make one, in detail please, I'm not very bright.

Frankly I like to use a no faced portal tunnel spline ( I forget it's name "Universal" ? ) And place my own 1x1 dighole(s). Using an extremely short stone viaduct spline as a tunnel portal, or a scenery item Tunnel Portal placed just in front of the bore.

It seems almost all tunnels are 4 baseboard grids (much too) wide, and flatten out the terrain at the tunnel mouth, and cut their own digholes automaticly, 3 things I hate about tunnels.
