Hi all,
I could not find a thread for tunnel help so i started one,
my problem is when laying tunnels in surveyor the baseboard textured or otherwise visibly cuts into the veiw when near the tunnel this is also visible when in driver which in most annoying. Ive tried raising '^' the ground level/terrain where the tunnel lays and also tried to lay the tunnel then sinking 'v' the tunnel track but i just can not seem to rid of this visible curtain side effect when entering a tunnel,

all help very welcome.

i have been having the problem to so what i did was choose a different tunnel or put the tunnel under water so i could see what was under there. If it does this with all the tunnels, save your content that you've downloaded to another file and reinstall the game. if this doesn't work you either have a computer problem, game problem or graphics card problem. you might need to ask customer support of Auran.

Referring back to the first post: could you post a screenshot so we can see what you mean? I'm afraid I can't quite visualise what you mean:confused::o.

To obtain relevant help here you need to state which tunnels you are using. The techniques involved in using the generic Trainz tunnels or those from AJS and VSR are very different.

You need to cut a Hole at the Tunnel mouth using the Hole Punch built in to TRS2006 (in Objects) then make up the gap using UK Tunnel Grass and Wingwalls all of which are also built in.In Surveyor create a Session for Hawes Junction , then dismantle one of the tunnels, which are all made in this way.....:p P.S "Tunnel Sombre" is a very dark tunnel

OK then "The majority of which are made in this way" When I first got TRS2006 I dismantled one of the Tunnels to find out how it was done...:udrool:
