Tunnel faces

I know there are track objects out there, probably on the DLS too, that you can put over those big blocks that serve as tunnel entrances in trainz to make it look like an actual tunnel entrance. I've searched through the DLS but I can't find the cliff faces. And I guess, since I'm on the subject, are there any objects I can place on sheer cliffs to make them look rocky instead of just these smooth textured cliff faces?

Using "shift key"

Using the depressing+"shift key" you can place alot of different objects in front of a tunnel enterence, and raise the height of several objects, and stack the objects on top of one another. There is a "water noise rock" but thats just one of many examples. Try the depressing+ the "shift" key method. The possibilities are endless using this technique !
Depressing and holding down on the "Shift " key keeps things separated...like splines, track and road. It keeps them from clicking together like magnets. The depressing and holding down on the shift key, until the object or track is finihed being placed, has unlimited possibilities.

Exactly what is the "depressing" + "shift" key method? Is the "depressing" the height modifier for terrain? And what exactly does it do?

Just one idea try user name "dmdrake" he has some cliff face textures. They were uploaded about Feb 2005 and are still available on the D/s.

Can I suggest that you type rockface in the description tag in DLS and you will get zillions, or try haegarle in the username tag.
Regards Jeff.

Depressing is not related to the depression you suffer when things are not going right. It is just pushing down the shift key. When you put a spline near another, they will joint. But if you push on the shift key, they don't. It is that simple.
