If your like me the only time any trainz disc comes out of the box is for an install, so there's nothing wrong with the disc.
Put it back in and keep trying. (has it done this before ?).
You could try opening the disc using explorer and using the setup.exe from there.

I have had three attempts so far. ok will go to plan B.
will advise. ok where is setup .exe I feel so STUPID with computer terminology. tried my computer and the devices with removable storage get the trainz disc icon press install do far so good i think then disc 2 no install prompt???? almost on the verge of giving up.

ok reinstall attempt number 9 worked. so off we go again. and I aint gonna touch that patch with a length of bullhead rail. once again many thanks and i will try to stop making a nuisance of myself.
